MY ARTISTIC ROOTS are within the Japanese Shoji Tradition. I strive to create finely
crafted, simple yet elegant lamps from wood and rice paper.
LATELY I have explored beyond the strictly traditional forms. I am incorporating curves and found objects, both natural and manmade.
MY MOST RECENT WORK uses voids and open space to add depth. With this I can layer papers, inviting the viewer to peek into the inner space.
